I do remember back at the Las Vegas concert (circa November 2005) where Paul did sing one song of John's from the early Beatle era. I believe it was "From Me To You." And you're right about the plethora of songs. That would have to be a 4-5 hour concert at least. Another artist like that is George Strait. With his 20 plus years of writing songs, there is just no way to hear them all (and we saw him twice in Phoenix). Again, I'm glad you got to experience Paul McCartney in concert. Now, you have to go see Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band. He puts on a great concert. We had the privilege of seeing him in San Diego at Humphrey's By The Bay a few years back. Jack Bruce was part of his All Starr lineup. That's another story.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7318545864976505075.post-55651453491591556232013-07-19T07:55:04.101-05:002013-07-19T07:55:04.101-05:00Hi Tony. I confess that I was hoping for both Hello Goodbye and All You Need Is Love, but when a guy has THAT many great songs, you have to leave something out, or we'd still be there listening to songs two days later! Yes, it is a wonderful experience. I'm glad you've been there too!<br />Rorycooneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11234523272768439816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7318545864976505075.post-23821507977246119922013-07-19T01:50:59.181-05:002013-07-19T01:50:59.181-05:00The first time I saw McCartney in concert was Cinc...The first time I saw McCartney in concert was Cinco de Mayo, 2002 in Anaheim, CA. The band started out with Hello, Goodbye. The crowd went nuts! Halfway through the song, I realized I had tears rolling down from my eyes. I couldn't believe I had just experienced "Beatlemania!" Paul is an incredible performer. Rory, I'm glad you had the privilege of seeing Sir Paul in concert.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
